Volunteering at the ISPCC

At the ISPCC we have a unique mix of highly qualified staff and well trained volunteers who strive on a daily basis to meet the demands of the society.    We currently have just under 500 active valued volunteers and have recently embarked on a plan, supported by The Atlantic Philanthropies, to significantly grow our network of active volunteers.  In conjunction with Atlantic Philanthropists we are, aiming to develop volunteering in the Galway and Mayo regions.  The project aims to recruit 120 new ISPCC volunteers over the next 2 years (2010/11).

Why volunteer with us?

People volunteer with us for all types of reasons. You may want to update your skills, meet new people, be active, take action on something you believe or improve your job prospects. There is no typical criteria but you must be willing to work towards our Mission and Vision statements, be willing to work directly or indirectly with children and/or adults  and can work effectively as part of a team.
