What is Matched Giving?

 

Matched giving is where an employer matches the amount an employee has raised or donated.

Supporting your staff

Matched giving by companies boosts the morale of employee fundraisers/donors as it shows them you are supporting what they do.

Your options

As an employer you can either:

• Match single one off gifts given by an individual
  
• Match the total money raised from employee fundraising efforts

Keep in mind

You can match Euro for Euro what your employees give as part of Payroll Giving.  The amount you match is flexible and can be capped per person.

Don’t forget that the volunteering your staff undertake can be ‘paid’ for – a simple donation to the ISPCC can be made when an employee volunteers at the Charity and/or time in lieu can be allowed.
