On June 17th Raheny will come alive with walkers, runners and joggers taking part in the Raheny Shamrocks 5K at St. Anne's Park.

The Elverys Sports Achill Half Marathon takes place on Saturday 7th July 2012 at 11.00am. The event, in its current format, has been staged in Achill since 2007 and is approved by Athletics Ireland. The ISPCC, as a partner of Elverys Sports, is delighted to be chosen as the nominated national charity to benefit from this event.

Carlow Rugby Club have launched the PLAY Tag Festival 2012 where an attempt will be made to break the Guinness World Record for the largest Tag Rugby Tournament ever held.
