ISPCC Anti-Bullying Campaign

14
Dec, 2011
The campaign, initially the vision of Westlife’s Mark Feehily has gained further support from more well known Irish personalities; rugby player Jamie Heaslip, singer Siva Kaneswaran and actor Colin Farrell, who have all been photographed by Barry McCall as victims of bullying. Emotional scars are not visible to the eye so they all carry physical injuries as a representation of the effect that bullying can have on the life of a child.

Through this campaign, it is hoped that young people will find the strength to talk about what is going on for them and to seek support to have it stop. They have the right to be heard and to be protected.

If you are in need of support, a fact file on bullying and a guide for parents and young people is available to download
