Children's Consultation

What is it?
The UN Convention on the rights of the child affirms the fact that children and young people have the right to express their views on matters that affect them. The convention also recognises their right to form and join associations.
 
Why is consultation important?
In order to ensure that their rights as citizens are acknowledged, and that they are given the opportunity to participate in society as equals, we strive to ensure that young people are consulted with and are active participants in society and in our services.
 
This means that we want to hear what young people think about matters that affect them and in particular our ISPCC support services.
