RTE 2FM Xmas Ball

RTE 2FM and MCD come together every year to hold a highly-anticipated Xmas Ball in aid of the ISPCC. Top Irish and international acts including The Script, The Coronas and Gavin James have played to sold-out Xmas Balls at the 3Arena in recent years, which have been hosted by RTE 2FM presenters including Nicky Byrne, Jenny Greene and Eoghan McDermott.

All of those involved have given their services free of charge on the night, with 100 per cent of all monies raised going directly towards the financial support of the 24-hour Childline service. The RTE 2FM Xmas Ball raised almost €500,000 in 2017.

The 2018 RTE 2FM Xmas Ball will play host to artists including Hozier, Walking On Cars, Chasing Abbey, Keywest, Wyvern Lingo, Brave Giant and Wild Youth and will take place at 3Arena on Friday December 14th, 2018.

FM104 The Gig

Since 2008, FM104 has hosted an incredible annual event for ISPCC Childline - 'The Gig' at Dublin's Olympia Theatre. Over the years, the gig has been a highlight of Dublin's music and events calendar and has helped to raise vital funds for ISPCC Childline. Several top Irish artists have performed at The Gig, including Kodaline, Picture This and Hudson Taylor. The 10th annual FM104 The Gig took place at The Olympia Theatre in September 2018. Special thanks to Margaret Nelson and Dave Kelly for their continued support and to all of the FM104 staff and listeners for being a part of this special evening each year.

Childline Change

Childline Change is the ISPCC’s annual national fundraising day and has taken place in the early summer months in 2016 and 2017 to date with the support of Fidelity Investments.

Hundreds of volunteers across the country have donned red Childline t-shirts and taken to the streets of cities and towns across Ireland to help raise vital funds.

Childline Change has provided significant support to the service, which costs €3.5 million to run every year and relies on public and corporate support for over 90 per cent of this funding.

Christmas Afternoon Tea at The Morrison Hotel

The Morrison Hotel hosts an annual Christmas Afternoon Tea, with all funds raised donated to ISPCC Childline.

The 2018 Afternoon Tea will take place at the hotel on Sunday, November 18th and promises to be a festive celebration with treats, entertainment, fun and games, a raffle and a special guest speaker.

100 per cent of all funds raised through the annual festive Afternoon Tea go directly to ISPCC Childline.

Over €8,000 was raised for the service at the 2017 Afternoon Tea, which was hosted by Rory Cowan.

The ISPCC would like to extend warm thanks to all the staff at The Morrison Hotel for their incredible generosity each year.

Brown Thomas Fashion Show Luncheon

The ISPCC is thrilled to have the support of all the team at Brown Thomas, who help raise vital funds for the organisation’s services each year by hosting a Fashion Show Lunch which is a constant highlight of the Dublin social calendar.

The 2018 luncheon event, hosted by Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, treated guests to a captivating array of style and glamour on the catwalk, as well as an enthralling performance by Mark Fehily.

While it would be impossible to thank everyone involved in making this event such a success each year, the ISPCC is very grateful to Shelly Corkery and her team at Brown Thomas for hosting this fantastic event each year.
