The Resilience Matters event was held in Cork on Wednesday 8th November. The ISPCC’s Cork Children’s Advisory Committee and staff team collaborated to develop an event for children and young people in Cork, to  explore resilience, coping mechanisms and how children keep themselves well.

It was attended by children from several primary and secondary schools from the Ballincollig, Youghal and Little Island areas, and built on the success of the Cork Matters ’ research study and consultation project, which gained insight into life for children, teenagers and their families living in the Youghal and Ballincollig communities of County Cork.

The event was funded by Tusla.
