Kathryn Thomas launches ‘DONATE FOR DISCOUNTS WEEKEND' at Blanchardstown Centre – 27th-28th May
Kathryn Thomas today, Friday 19th May, launched Donate for Discounts, a weekend at Blanchardstown supporting ISPCC Childline. Over the weekend of the 27th and 28th May, you can show your support for the charity by buying a wrist band for just €3 in Blanchardstown Centre.
Simply show your wristband in participating stores in Blanchardstown Centre over the weekend and receive up to 20% off! All funds raised will go to ISPCC Childline.
Donate for Discounts Weekend at Blanchardstown Centre will also see a number of spectacular events including fashion masterclasses and entertainment by the Halleluiah Gospel Choir. ISPCC Childline will hold information sessions about supports the charity offers to children. There will also be a number of collection points around Blanchardstown Centre where you can donate to the charity.
80% of the ISPCC services are funded by donations from the general public. All funds raised at Blanchardstown Centre will ensure that the ISPCC can continue to help and protect the children throughout Ireland and be there for them, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The ISPCC provides a range of services to children and young people and their families. Every year, its Childline service receives over 400,000 contacts from children through its phone, text and online services. The Childline phone service is available 24 hours a day, for any child who needs to talk. The ISPCC also provides childhood support and mentoring services directly to children. The ISPCC also provides the Missing Children’s Helpline in Ireland.
