Cliodhna O'Neill, Director of Policy and Communications

As Director of Policy and Communications Cliodhna is responsible for leading the ISPCC’s work on influencing government and public policy, seeking change to better protect children in Ireland and for the ISPCC’s communications and marketing.

Cliodhna has a background in communications, public policy and law, and prior to joining the ISPCC worked in Ireland and the UK in large and small organisations supporting people who have a disability or other support needs, predominantly in the Rehab Group. She holds qualifications in literature and languages and in learning disability from University College Dublin and has qualified as a barrister at the Honorable Society of King's Inns and been called to the bar of Ireland.

Cliodhna is a member of the National Council and Board of Directors of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland and Chair of its governance committee, and is an external member of Disability Federation of Ireland's Governance Committee.
