Tweet 'em Home raised €25,000 for ISPCC
ISPCC Ambassador Keith Barry and rugby pundit Brent Pope did the ISPCC proud in their Renault sports car by driving to Galway and back as part of the ESB Electric Ireland ‘Tweet ‘em Home for Christmas’ Drive which took place in early December.
The ISPCC would like to thank the following people/organisations who made the event such a great success: ESB Electric Ireland for getting us involved and donating €20,000 to our work with children, Tequila Marketing, ISPCC Ambassador Keith Barry, Brent Pope, Renault Ireland for providing the car and a donation of €5,000, our drive Mike Carey (Famous Seamus), Entertainment.ie for their media support, all our twitter & facebook followers, Mullingar Community College, Elverys Athlone, Presentation College Athenry, Verve Marketing, RTE and anyone we have left out.
The funds raised will be used by the ISPCC to continue our vital work with children and young people in Ireland.
