Xmas Appeal: Orla's Story
She had a little girl’s voice. This girl, we’ll call her Orla, (though of course, that’s not her real name), called often. At Childline we listen to many different kinds of calls, the story we are sharing with you now may be difficult to read (though sadly it’s not unusual). Some children call about school and bullying. Some call about feeling
sad or anxious. Some even just call to share a joke. But some callers, like Orla, you never forget.
Calling School & Workplace Choirs
Does your school or workplace have a choir, a glee club, or a music society? Why not join us at the new Winter Wonderland in Dun Laoghaire this December and sing while shaking buckets to raise much needed funds for Childline by ISPCC. We will be there with you on the day with carol sheets, t-shirts, buckets and Santa hats.

Host A Christmas Jumper Day
Host a Christmas Jumper Day in your school or creche or workplace. Simply sign up to receive balloons and posters for your own Christmas Jumper Day event.
(You can combine this event with any existing Christmas activities you have planned like a lunch and learn/ breakfast fundraiser/ bake sale). Get in touch now and we’ll send you everything you need so that your pupils or staff can enjoy a day showing off their lovely Christmas jumpers.
Childline Christmas Tree
This Christmas we have a meaningful opportunity for you to make a difference in the lives of children in Ireland. We are delighted to announce our Childline Christmas Tree campaign.

Corporate Xmas Fundraising
There are a range of exciting and exclusive Christmas corporate fundraising opportunities available in 2023. These include:
- Fund Childline services for a full day or half day
- Host a Christmas Jumper Day at your offices
- Volunteer to sell Christmas Holly pins of sing carols with your corporate choir
- Share a branded corporate Christmas eCard with your business contacts
Holly Pins Volunteers
We need volunteers to assist us in selling holly pins in the run-up to the Christmas holiday season.
There are a limited number of volunteer spots available to corporates or schools to sell holly pins in Dublin, Cork or from your own schools or offices in December.
This is an essential part of our Christmas fundraising activites and we would appreciate any volunteers in workplaces/schools and anyone who wishes to buy a beautiful Holly pin.
