ISPCC Childline is now recruiting volunteers nationwide to help raise vital funds this May to keep the service listening to children and young people in Ireland 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

ISPCC Childline needs to raise €3.2 million every year to continue providing its services to children and young people 24 hours each day. Childline answers over 380,000 contacts each year from children and young people who may feel as though they have nowhere else to turn. Children call Childline for several reasons: they may be lonely, worried or upset, or simply wish to have somebody to speak with. A call to Childline can change a child’s life.

The annual Childline Change collection day takes place in most locations on Friday May 18th, with collections happening in Cork on Thursday May 17th and in Louth on Thursday May 31st.
