Climb for Childline - Kilimanjaro

Take on Mount Kilimanjaro while raising money for Childline.

We have teamed up with tour operator, Earth’s Edge, to raise much needed funds to help us continue our life changing work. Each year Earth’s Edge takes over 400 people to climb the world’s tallest mountains. Established in 2007, they are an Irish owned company who specialise in high altitude trekking and mountaineering. They are the only company in the world who send both an international doctor and guide on all their trips while keeping group sizes sustainably small. This life-changing trip takes on the tallest freestanding mountain in the world – Mount Kilimanjaro. Standing at 5,896m, summiting Kilimanjaro is an achievement of a lifetime. The 12 day trip includes 7 days of trekking the Machame trail – this time frame increases the chances of a successful summit as it allows for acclimatization. All you have to do is raise the funds for Childline(a minimum of €2,000) and we will tell you exactly how to do that.
