We require you to raise a minimum of (€2,000) for Childline. Use the form below to register with us today and we will send you a fundraising pack with lots of great ideas on how you can raise the funds for your expedition
But before you get those hiking boots on we would like you to take a moment to understand how important fundraisers like these are to enable us to help children in Ireland.
ISPCC is a national charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and young people; they are at the heart of everything we do. We provide Childline’s suite of services.
Our child-centred services, programmes and supports are focused on strengthening resilience and developing coping competencies.
By listening to, supporting and empowering children and young people, we strive to ensure they are better equipped to face life’s ups and downs and reach their full potential. We speak out and advocate for meaningful change that will enhance their lives today and leave a legacy of improved childhood experiences for future generations of children and young people.

How to Participate in Climb for Childline
Choose your mountain adventure from the three options of Everest Base Camp, Kilimanjaro and Machu Picchu.
- Fill out the form with a few quick details and one of our fundraising team will be in touch ASAP with a fundraiser pack with info on how you can raise funds for Childline.
- You must commit to fundraising a minimum of €2,000 for Childline. Don’t worry though as will provide you with all the information you need so that you can meet and exceed this target!
- You can then choose to pay the expedition costs yourself, or you can commit to raising enough funds to cover the cost of the expedition costs in addition to fundraising for Childline (for example, the cost of the expedition to Everest Base Camp is around €4,000 so you would need to raise a minimum of €6,000).
- Once you have selected your adventure and got your fundraising in place, Earth’s Edge team will look after you every step of the way.
- All the costs are paid directly to our partner Earth’s Edge. They require a €399 deposit to secure your place on the trek. You can pay the balance off in full or in installments via the Earth’s Edge website.

All the costs for the Everest Base Camp trek are paid directly to Earth’s Edge. They require a €399 deposit to secure your place on the trek. You can pay the balance off in full or in installments via the Earth’s Edge website.
