Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Childline this Summer. Please read our terms and conditions below before registering via the form.
You do not have a confirmed place until you receive a confirmation email from Childline – you may also receive a decline email if we are at capacity. This email can take up to 10 working days – please do not fill in the form again or send follow up emails. If you receive a decline email, it will determine if you are on the wait list or not – we have a limit for our wait list.
We do our best to remove listed concerts below once we have reached max capacity for confirmation and wait list. If they are removed, they are gone.
Volunteering for Childline Terms & Conditions
- Volunteering means you will need to arrive 1 or 2 hours before the gates open (exact times will be given closer to the date). If you cannot meet the exact time given, your place will be given to another volunteer.
- One staff member will lead the day. All volunteers must adhere to instructions provided by our staff and treat staff and volunteers with respect.
- Each volunteer can select a maximum of 3 concerts on our first-round release. If we have places available/no waiting list – you will have the opportunity to apply for more.
- If we see people submitting multiply forms or registering for more than 3 concerts, we will remove that person from all concerts. We have hundreds of volunteers, and we need to give ample opportunity to everyone.
- Each volunteer gets a maximum of 1 plus one to bring.
- We expect each volunteer to commit to selling on the day – approach the public and ask them to buy a poncho, interact and make an effort to raise as much money as possible on the day.
- Volunteering means you will be selling ponchos, on your feet, for approx. 3-5hrs.
- You will finish volunteering 30 minutes before the main act starts so you can enjoy the concert for free.
- We cannot provide parking for volunteers.
- All volunteers must be 18 or over. There is no exception to this rule.
- For Electric Picnic – you need to arrive on the Thursday and complete 4hrs volunteering a day every day for 3 days. You cannot choose your time, and you may miss some earlier acts (all volunteering ends at 8pm).
