Can you or your team run 32 kilometres, bake 32 cakes, or use your imagination to complete another kind of ‘Challenge 32’ this Saturday, June 20th, to help raise vital funds to keep ISPCC Childline listening?

Ireland’s 24-hour active listening service for children is calling on individuals and communities across the country to challenge themselves as part of a new socially-distant fundraising initiative which aims to replace some of the fundraising opportunities which have been lost due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Challenge 32’ is the name of a new nationwide fundraising campaign developed by JustGiving and Charities Institute Ireland set to bring the Irish charity sector together this Saturday, June 20th, for a day of imaginative fundraising challenges in support of Irish charities including ISPCC Childline.

There are lots of ways in which you can help raise vital funds for Childline virtually, in your own home or community.

Check out some ideas here to help get you started.

ISPCC Childline is here to listen to every child and young person in Ireland 24 hours a day, every day, by phone, online and by text. Any child or young person up to the age of 18 can contact Childline at any time, to chat about any issue which may be on their mind.

Childline relies on donations for 90 per cent of its funding every year, so public support
is vital to keeping Childline listening.

Everybody is welcome to get involved this Saturday – simply pick a fundraiser which suits your skills, follow health guidance and kick-start your fundraiser by clicking here. Follow the nationwide fundraising endeavours on social media by using the hashtag #Challenge32.

If you like – and have the permission of everyone featured – why not share your photos or videos on social media and tag ISPCC Childline? You can find ISPCC Childline
