Childline here for every child and young person

The ISPCC has reminded children and young people up to the age of 18 in Ireland that the Childline service remains available to them 24 hours a day, every day, including at this time.

Children and young people have been increasingly turning to Childline for support online. In the weeks following the closure of schools in March, Childline noted a 25 per cent increase in online contacts.

Childline is a confidential and non-judgemental listening service which children and young people can contact for free, from anywhere in Ireland, by phone or online chat.

Children and young people can talk with Childline about any issue which may be on their mind – there is no topic too big or small.

Childline can be reached by calling 1800 66 66 66 or chatting online at Childline.ie 24 hours a day, every day.

Further support and information is also available at Childline.ie.
