ISPCC thanks Calpol for supporting parents and carers

The ISPCC has thanked Calpol for supporting parents and carers through the ISPCC’s Parenting Hub at ISPCC.ie.

Johnson and Johnson (Ireland) Limited is contributing €20,000 towards the provision of online support and information resources for parents and carers on the platform.

Calpol is set to support a series of webinars for parents and carers which will be hosted by the ISPCC over the coming months and which will focus on strengthening resilience and coping capacity in children and young people. The webinars will be available to access through the Parenting Hub.

ISPCC Childline Director of Services Caroline O’Sullivan said: “At the ISPCC, we want parents and carers to be able to access trusted and supportive resources and information at any time. The past 18 months have tested even the most resilient of families and it is important that parents and carers know support is available to them, just as it is available to children and young people also.

“We are hugely grateful to Calpol and Johnson and Johnson (Ireland) Limited for generously supporting parents and carers through their contribution to the ISPCC Parenting Hub at ISPCC.ie. This funding will help to ensure parents and carers throughout Ireland have somewhere they can turn at any time for trusted information and guidance on navigating topics from bullying, to anxiety, to healthy relationships and more. We look forward to announcing details of our upcoming resilience webinars in the coming weeks also and are excited to bring these to parents and carers.”

A Calpol spokesperson said: “We are very proud to support the ISPCC Parenting Hub at ISPCC.ie  Now more than ever, the ISPCC Parenting Hub can provide a vital source of information and advice and we are delighted that our contribution will help deliver vital webinars to parents and carers’’
