Companies across Ireland can now ‘Gift Back’ their Christmas party funds to ISPCC Childline to help ensure every child and young person in Ireland has somewhere they can turn every day and night this winter and beyond.

The ‘Gift Back’ campaign is an initiative of the Marketing Network Group and is being championed by the agency as an opportunity for companies to share seasonal goodwill at this critical time.

Children’s and young people’s lives have been turned upside down this year. Cut off from extended family members, friends and other supports, they have needed Childline like never before.

The listening service receives about 800 online contacts, calls and texts from children and young people up to the age of 18 across Ireland every day.

Those who reach out for support tell Childline about how they face challenges including abuse and violence, mental health difficulties, anxiety, strain in family relationships, loneliness and more.

Childline needs to continue to be here for them always, but the service relies on corporate and public donations for over 90 per cent of the funding which keeps it listening to children.

In a time when we can’t gather together in the way we would like to, can your company help ensure no child has to face their challenges alone this Christmas?
